Oriental Industry Co., Ltd has been a leading manufacturer of retaining rings since 1986 in China. We dedicated ourselves in manufacturing quality retaining rings in most competitive cost. 95% of the products are exported to Germany, UK, Italy, Spain,

Hungary, South Africa and Korea etc. With rapid growth of the business, we have invested the second phase production facilities, which is 4 times bigger in capacity than the current one. It is putting into production by the end of 2006.

1. Product Range

a) Retaining rings (circlips)

We produce a full range of retaining rings from 3 mm to 400 mm. Our larger retaining rings are even competitive in the market. We hold a large stock for most of DIN regular specification. Except for the retaining rings listed below, we also provide custom-made retaining rings. All the tooling will be made on our own expense within 3 days.

2. Facilities

The modern factory is well equipped with a whole range of stamping machines, automatic heat treatment lines, flattening machines, shearers, grounding machines, barrel-grinding machines and finish treatment equipment. Our tooling workshop can make all kinds of tooling within 3 days on our own expense

(b) Stainless Steel

2Cr13, which is equivalent to 420, is frequently used for SS retaining rings. The hardness reaches HRC 44-50 after heat treatment. This makes our SS retaining rings much excel the just 'stamped stainless retaining rings'

Brass, beryllium copper and other material are available according to the customers requirement.

The Thickness of Material

The thickness of material is crucial for quality retaining rings. Some of the local raw materials can not reach the thickness required. We have our own facilities to roll them into tolerance before stamping.

4. Heat treatment and finish

The standard heat treatment is quench-and-temper. Our modern equipment and skillful technicians guarantee each retaining ring within the mechanical properties required.
Austempering is available on request.
Carbon steel retaining rings are chemical blackened and dipped in anti-rust oil.
A black corrosion-retardant phosphate coating on carbon steel is available on request.
Zinc plating is available, but is not recommended.
Stainless steel is polished into original color after heat treatment.
No further finish on copper and brass.

5. Packaging

a) The internal packaging

For smaller sizes under 50 mm, the internal packaging is poly bags. For larger sizes from 50 mm up to 400, the stacked retaining rings are wrapped with oil paper in column

Shrink film packaging is available for larger retaining rings

b) The external packaging

The standard external packaging is carton of 400x300x210mm. 24 Cartons are placed on a standard pallet with volume around 0.8 M³. The pallet is fastened by band and then is wrapped with stretch film.

c) Except on request, all packaging are neutral - without information of manufacturer.

d) All packaging materials could be custom-made according to customer's design.
